nature park and the valley below.
The ancient trail “sentiero delle torce” (= the torches trail) runs along
the western fence of the property. This ancient trail, mentioned in
tourist guidebooks of southern Latium, goes back in history and still
today on 15th August (Ascension Day) it hosts a nighttime procession
by the light of the torches down the slope of the mountain ‘monte
Romano’.
